No, it'll probably be about a month from now before he should be recovered from his injury....that said, his over the top work ethic could speed things up a bit. No matter what he should be good to go before the start of the season.
That's kinda what I'm talking about dude.... I'm no DMO only fan. Personally I think Jones is probably going to be the starter. I like dmo the player and have stated many times I think at worst he's a very solid rotation big that would even get playing time on the Spurs because of his bbiq. Where in my post did I say Allstar the word wasn't even mentioned? Try harder daywalker
Clutchfans logic: Made a thread exactly like this 2 months prior. Gets negative feedback and a 1 star thread. Thanks guise
I'd argue that DMo is already a better overall player than Scola at his peak because he's a better defender than Luis ever dreamed of being and is a more versatile scorer.
How can someone dislike DMO, neutral fans and fans of other teams also enjoy watching him play. People want him to be great more than any other player because he has a beautiful game.
That definitely wouldn't be a stretch but I think that's because DMo will be the first big off the bench and get minutes at both the 4 & 5 while Jones is limited to the 4 , much like the start of last season. That may change should Capela cement himself in the rotation ... Either way I think DMo plays more total minutes than Jones.
That's not my hierarchy. And I'm sure others have different hierarchies than both of us. Why are you acting like you were anointed to declare this to the rest of the bball world?
agree with oakdogg,,,not understanding the difference between specialist and role-player that daywalker02 uses my criteria is Superstar = future HOFer, perenial all-star Star = All-Star/All-NBA for a few years, short of HOFer Legit NBA Starter = would start on any team, and probably not get traded to one where they have a Superstar/Star who plays his position Role Player = starter for some teams, key player off the bench for all
The Lithuanians are top of the class who would have thought that??? There big man development atleast on the offensive side of the ball is very advanced.
Well, Dmo and Val aren't at very high usage. But Lithuanians do produce a lot of good ballers for a country of 3 mil. The fact that this guy runs a basketball school there probably helps: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arvydas_Sabonis
Man, I love these charts. They tell me so much. Thanks. Are y'all actually making these yourself in Excel, or is there just one great source for all of them? Anybody else a little underwhelmed by DMo's numbers here? Seems like we've been hearing DMo is the best post-up guy in the league, but Jonas looks significantly better here. That might be nitpicking. What's more telling is how much more effective Harden's isolations (from the other thread) are on way higher usage. Maybe we don't need to feature DMo on offense? Our perimeter attack is looking pretty good right now.
name ten players in the history of the nba that are oultiers to HOFer All-Star Starter Role Player We don't need a 5th definition, imo. I think you might be over complicating it. But cheers, not worth arguing about.
