julia, what does that even mean? was springer dancing then correa comes out of nowhere to tackle him?
No...he wasn't taking BP "the right way", so some of the MN Twins came out on the field and punched him.
Springer going out on a rehab assignment! Another big step. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">"It's exciting I'm headed out," said Springer, who will return to Houston tonight. Yeah. I thought maybe he was rubbing the field trying to get it sexed up for him or something. So excited to be back he's flirting with the base paths.

I wonder if/how Hinch is going to try and split up the RHHs at the top of the lineup... Personally I'd just hit them 1-2-3 like Toronto does. Springer Altuve Correa Lowrie Gattis Rasmus Gomez Valbuena/Gonzalez Castro That lineup looks so good, my god.
I'd do... Springer Altuve Correa Lowrie Gomez Gattis Rasmus Valbuena/Gonzalez Castro If Marisnick is playing, I have him batting 9th.
Be still my heart. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">George Springer singles to left field in his first at bat for <a href="https://twitter.com/cchooks">@cchooks</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Astros?src=hash">#Astros</a></p>— Astros Future (@AstrosFuture) <a href="https://twitter.com/AstrosFuture/status/637780970762952704">August 30, 2015</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Any reason you'd have a guy slashing .173/.241/.280/.521 in August batting cleanup? Also, why would you be platooning Valbuena? He is slashing .273/.375/.473/.848 this month.
Lowrie makes contact. He's been a victim of bad luck and I think odds are good that will turn around. I'd think there will be some kind of platoon between him, Valbuena, and Marwin to keep them all in the lineup as much as possible. As long as Carter isn't in the lineup, I really don't care how it shapes up.
With the exception of his last at bat last night, I don't remember too many hard hit balls. Currently mired in an 0-26 slump, but as Gene Elston used to say, " the longer he goes without getting a hit, the closer he comes to getting one."
His first AB looked like a single to center, but ended up as a shoe-string catch by Buxton. His 2nd AB was hit well, but too close to the LF.
