If Bregman gets called up next year, where does he play? Is he a full-time starter or more of a super-utility esque player? Hard to break up Correa/Altuve, but I don't know where else Bregman can go. Correa to 3rd is the most likely scenario, no?

Maybe AJ can do this for the Astros this year.
i'm starting to get correa-level-excited about Reed. franchise 1st baseman. amazing that this season is just the tip of the iceberg for the big league club.
I did this when villar was at shortstop, but what would it take for the baseball gods to send reed or white to the bigs? a minor ankle sprain to lowrie and tennis elbow for chris carter from swinging so hard? again, that's not me wishing for minor injuries. I'm just curious.
His power is coming around. He has 9 home runs in 52 games at Corpus in July and August. By comparison, Reed now has 9 home runs at Corpus through 44 games.
I imagine Singleton is still ahead in the pecking order. Matt Duffy is also having an excellent year in Fresno, and he is rule 5 eligible, so he would probably be ahead of them as well. It would probably take injuries 2 guys before it would even be considered.
It's going to be real fun next couple of seasons when this team is already a contender and there are waves of Reed, White, Moran, Appel, Martes, Fisher, Bregman, Tucker, Daz coming in year after year. None of that even considers a major FA signing.
That's why the Cardinal's are consistently good. Luhnow was partly responsible for that as well. He's been a great GM thusfar.
