Actually I think America is much too fake with courtesy compared to other parts of the world I have been to. Maybe its the tipping culture I don't know.
I agree that people are more courteous in the US (and Canada) compared to other parts of the world (or at least the parts where I've been). I don't think that's a bad thing. Seriously, what's the negative impact (other than making rude people uncomfortable)?
I like Chiptole alright, but I always order veggie there, because I'm not a fan of any of their meats. The "Quesarita" at Freebirds is the **** if you haven't had one. It's just a regular burrito that they melt the cheese on and make a little crispy. This also seems like an appropriate place for this rant. I like the convenience of eating a burrito, but I HATE how the ingredients you get in each bite are so inconsistent. Like if I take a bite from the right side, there's a good chance I'm getting a mouth full of rice and nothing else. From the left side, it's just beans and maybe some tomatoes. Gotta take a bite from the center if I want any meat. For this reason, I usually order a bowl with a tortilla on the side, and just scoop up my own burrito. This needs to be solved, and ASAP.
Stayed away from this place for a good while because it really would upset my stomach badly but the last 2 months you wouldn't be able stop me even if you had a bouncer from entering, binge setting in
americans are so sensitive. you have to pretend to be nice to everyone or you'll get sued or on the news.
Ever since Chipotle cracked down on the illegals working there the service has gone way downhill. The one I go to has a bunch of lazy sloths working there now.
Chipotle is whatever. I mean its good if you dont have access to great authentic mexican food but if you live in a state bordering Mexico, you have better options with cheaper price tags and most likely better service as well. give me tex-mex over chipotle any day and twice on sundays.
Well the whole thing with chip is that its process is done the right way. No gmo, animals didn't suffer, and its all fresh, although there seems to be a ton of sodium in everything they make..
I roll this way too. I enjoy getting free guacamole more than I enjoy their meat, and it's a few less raw calories, so I've been having almost purely veggie burritos for the last 10 years. I miss Freebirds. I've been living in the northern Midwest for the last 6 years and it's a shame it's never made it up here. Freebirds isn't really better or worse than Chipotle IMO, but it's a different spin on the burrito and sometimes I'm just feeling like one or the other more.
