This is a fair point, but I also think there's buy in among young black males to consume trash hop culture as a means for empowerment.

It's not the culture of violence that's the underlying issue but rather the readiness to portray blacks in media as hypermasculine and aggressive while conversely the white man's supposed power is being shrunk by "other threats".

It's not the "good ol days" anymore.

None of this correlates with reality as wage, positions of power, and media attention is still focused on white males, but you still see fairly well to do white dudes making angry posts with a firecracker lit up their asses.
