Are you saying you are going to buy this morning at the open? I am thinking of buying some index funds while they are low and continue to buy every couple of weeks. Holding on to my stocks and plan to buy more when I have enough to buy them up at lower prices.

I'm a trader, but your plan sounds relatively safe. I do expect the market to go lower over the next few weeks.

I bought nflx and apple calls about 5 min out of open. The bid ask were crazy wide though to be expected. I've unloaded a % of those since then. I was thinking spx to 1860 Ebola crisis at least.

I sold some stocks but I am hanging in there with others. It seems people have bought up quite a bit since the open. Went from 4% to 2.5% and has been hovering for a while. Seems like a good sign that the bottom won't continue to fall out but I don't know much.

Good lord, the market is swinging hard today. I freed up some cash a couple months ago so looking to get back into the investing game again.

Anyone taking punts in the O&G sector? Or is it still projected to stay down for a long period of time?

Was really happy with my TEVA purchase couple months ago. I'm probably going to keep a look out for more Pharmas.

i wouldnt call it a dead cat bounce. it had more substance than that..more like a textbook fade the gap. market was trying to fade the gap to yesterdays close. this close will be interesting. either rip selling or some short covering.

I plan to open a Vanguard Roth IRA and drop $5,500. Going for the 2050 retirement fund which is 90% stocks. Any comments? Appreciated.

Hilarious watching these talking heads all pretend that a rate hike is just a few months down the road.

Those target date funds usually have a relatively high fee

My quotes were blowing up at the end of the day. My big trades were in some of these thinly traded ETFs.
