    They had enough beef that Slash left GNR in 1993 and they basically hadn't spoke to each other since then until recently.

    GNR was inducted into the RRHOF a few years ago and Slash has said he was thinking of not going at all if Axl showed up just to avoid the drama.

    Axl penned this letter the week of the ceremony basically blasting the hall for trying to force a reunion of the original lineup and when Axl did that Slash decided to attend and they ended up playing with Myles Kennedy on vocals.

    Axl and Izzy Stradlin didn't show up for the ceremony.

    Izzy not going wasn't a huge surpise because since leaving GNR he has pretty much avoided public life.

    Izzy still makes music and he will release an album that pops up on itunes from time to time.

    I don't recall him performing live at all other than joining GNR or the one time he played with Velvet Revolver for a few songs.

    Yeah exactly. Need to get Axl, Slash, Izzy, Duff, and the boys back together and have the real Guns N' Roses together while they're still alive.
