As Texan Fans, How Do You Feel About the Titans Taking Mariota?

    Mariota will be no better than Bottles was last year as he transitions to the NFL. In my opinion, the Titans may be better off starting Mettenberger. Mariota has to learn timing among other NFL nuances, as he mostly threw to wide open WRs while in college hence the low interception totals.

    Either way, I'm not too concerned.

    The funny thing here is Titans fans saying that we'll never have 9 or 10 wins and we'll finish below the Jags.

    In my opinion, the Texans will actually have right at 9 or 10 wins, and the Titans will finish below the Jags.

    To each their own, I guess.

    As a Titans fan I don't like the pick. I just don't see it it with him.


    Plus, because he's incredibly boring and smiles a lot if he actually IS good he has Russell Wilson's HE'S SUCH A GOOD GUY WHAT A TRUE HERO written all over him. I don't want everyone's Dad's favorite player playing for my team.

    Probably "incredibly boring" and dull is actually a GOOD trait to consider with QB's.

    Eli Manning, Joe Flacco, Tom Brady, Andrew Luck, even Joe Montana, Troy Aikman. All super bland, but over 10 Super Bowls titles in that group.
