This! That was solid. But nobody saves anybody, really. There's a couple of hundred plays every game that could affect the outcome either way.

Big series with the Evil Empire coming up.

At some point Gomez is gonna go off, he's much, much better than he's shown so far with us.

The Astros also need to work on their getting to first base via catcher's interference. They haven't gotten to first once via the CI.

Why are people lambasting Gomez's steal to home attempt? I thought it was a good idea the way Kershaw was pitching. His only mistake was waiting too long to start running--I'm pretty confident he would have been safe he had he started even a second sooner.

Because they just wanted to find another thing about Carlos Gomez to complain about.

    ^^^Damn, was he injured?

There was a player (not an Astro) ~20 years who shattered his knee when his leg bent waaay backwards on a similar play.

I would hope they bring back Tucker and Fields, too.

Edit: Also, Thatcher is not on the 40. The lefty would either be Luis Cruz or Brett Oberholtzer. I forgot how long ago Oberholtzer was sent down

So for those Dodger fans...what does Friers have to do with any of the two losses?

NOTHING! So now what's the excuse for being swept!? Zero excuses!
Now just win the 1 run games on the road!

    Go Stros.

Stassi is the only easy choice there.

Other 2, well, Thatcher should be the best pitcher to help, but not in the 40 men roster, so probably is going to be Chapman instead.

Long man, probably is going to be between Straily or Obbie.
