pulling out a victory from the jaws of defeat...shouldve let Kershaw come out for the 9th...Thanks for the win LA. Also what the heck with all these Dodger fans at MMPark?
Gm 1. Fiers No hitter Gm 2. Beat the best pitcher in MLB (Greinke) Gm 3. Win with Kershaw pitching SWEEP!!!
Castro saved Gomez today. Stealing home on Kershaw? Come on dude, he's got to play smarter. The ebs and flows of his play remind me of Manny Ramirez. But happy they found a way to pick up the win.
Nah man, the question mark made your post a question, not a statement or prediction. Win still counts though
The steal of home was a bad result, not a bad play. It could also be said that Castro saved Castro as he made a poor play on the first WP and arguably could have stopped another. Each led directly to the Dodgers runs.
Its not that unusual for teams to play to the level of their competition. We played very well against the 1st place Dodgers. Not so great against Oakland and Texas earlier in the month. It happens.
No Castro saved himself. Cost us a run defensively, arguably two but it doesn't matter because we won the game off of his swing. Going forward, I am still not worried about the Rangers. Minus run differential, mediocre pitching. Feel fairly comfortable right now about the division lead (knock on wood).
That is a familiar feeling at the end of a homestand. Lets see how we all feel at the end of the upcoming road trip.
Gomez play just worries me. He's just too unpredictable out there, which I know will be a plus in the playoffs but tight now he just seems too erratic
What Kershaw like pitchers will we face in the AL playoffs? Price is pretty much only possibility I see
Yeah, for some reason, I have confidence in him come playoff time. He's capable of going off at any timeā¦so Im hoping this crappy slump now results in positive insanity later.
