Kristaps is an amazing prospect, he's the only guy in the draft who can stand toe-to-toe with Townes in terms of potential. In 2-3 years we might be looking at Andre Davis East.

nahh the ship has probably sailed on melo ever being the 2nd or 3rd best player on a championship team.

i dont think a top 5 team would take him at this point even with a rising cap. he did play well on the gold medal team but that was a few years ago now and he is in decline.

He could have signed right away forgoing the slightly higher salary increase percentage & the added final year of the contract, for a real chance to compete with better team roster, but no, money is everything for him. Prozingis is going to be a stud one day. I like his game the most besides towns. If both guys reach their potential they can be right behind AD in terms of on court impact. The league has a few good bigs coming up.

I think Russell is a bust after watching his summer league he just doesn't have the athleticism or size to be a james harden or Steph curry type guy. He's to slow and is always going to be bad at defense. He can shoot okay but hes less athletic then curry and doesn't have the size of a James harden to take the bullying of the NBA.
