That strike out pitch to Gonzalez was the only strike they threw him the entire at bat. It certainly looked like a strike and it was solidly on the line on the box on TV.
Still has a chance to tie/break the franchise record for consecutive home "W" decisions. Danny Darwin ('89-'90) holds the record (13). Keuchel remains at 12. Maybe @OAK is his only major weakness Props to Qualls too. 3 consecutive Ks with runners on 1st and 2nd, no outs When the law is on your side, pound the law When facts are on your side, pound the facts When you have never, pound the table (or demand a review) 1) HR's 2) speed on the bases
Remember in the World Series when they backed out of the way to let Konerko (I think) catch a ball in the stands?
It's the new receivers asking for a flag or basketball players complaining that they got fouled when they eff up.

This. I vividly remember this. We have some of the most idiotic fans sitting up front. I saw those fans interfere last night, and I was like, "oh, y'all couldn't do this **** 10 years ago?"

I love this team. They really are a lot of fun. And while it's exciting, they don't HAVE to make it so exciting all the time. I won't be mad if the win a few blowouts here and there.
Yeah, contest every foul ball that the Astros hit, clear out space for every foul ball the opponents hit, and reach out and interfere with any balls in the corner to ensure a ground rule double when the Astros hit one  It isn't all that difficult! That's an inefficiency the front office needs to address!!
I know it isn't going to happen but I desperately want us to DFA Carter and call up White. I really think that a Valbuena/White platoon at 1B could be a big success. It would also give us the opportunity to play Marwin a little bit more in the OF especially against LHP.
