The whole reality tv phenomenon hit its peak. It's dying down some but the media reports every move this family makes and people care for whatever reason. Real TV was cool back in the day. People still watch tons of reality TV. I mean, holy crap, there's a Big Brother thread in the Hangout every year! Seems insane to me that grown, mature, intelligent adults watch that so religiously. The channel E is pretty much all reality TV. The only way I keep up with any of it is by watching an episode of The Soup. E has gotten to the point where they're interviewing their own producers for their opinions on the Kardashians. And they report it like its news. It's insane.
