Pest Control guy and the Cranky Old Guy Hacker Chick and Science Chick are ok Eph and his son are the worse Mainly because they are both Bratty Eph is a little arrogant ass that has had his butt handed to him time and again FINALLY starts to allow other thoughts into the equation beyond his own Right now . . . Exactly what I said. if its after dark and you hit something, you keep going. Abraham and the Pest Guy are my 2 favs, Eph has started to wear on me after AntMan. Im looking forward to the old man being back in GoT this season too.
I like how elite black ops corporate assassin managed to shoot Eph in the shoulder at point blank range--then took his sweet time making the second shot, allowing Eph to live. Assassins these days.
I read those Del Toro Books and I am wondering how they can manage to pack all those things into the series. They probably have to come up with new characters as well like the new vampire hunter for the Ancients.

I gave up and unDVRed it after last week. I was tempted to record/watch it tonight out of habit. Thanks for the disappointing words; it will strengthen my resolve to stay away from this crap show that had so much potential.
I continue to watch, but I have no Idea what the purpose of the show is anymore. What is even going on? None of it makes any sense.
Not as good as season 1 but worth watching, especially during the summer. The Strain may end up falling into the same rut of many shows that never recapture the magic of an intriguing opening season.
It is really all over the map. They are too inconsistant with the direction they want to go They introduce characters then dropped them then let them show up again they put in too much bull**** filler for say you have good characters that you not using Where the hell is the Mexican guy? Where the hell is the Half Vampire Warrior God? Why do we give a ***** about old girl [Eph's Ex] trying to get her son? Why does THE MASTER care? How did the Lesbian's Ex survive. . . .At that point the story felt DANGEROUS . . now anyone with a sharp knife and an ounce of sense can go running about at night? The Show is going completely off the Rails Rocket River
They don't know if they want to solve this issue with a Magic Spell or a Scientific Potion. The other Elders can't be too happy . . cause I don't think the Spell or the Sauce will spare them and only kill the master. I was pissed how easily their kill squad was dismantled by a once crippled business man . . . .. last episode was the first time The old Businessman showed any reverence to THE MASTER He all GaGa over some new Sexy Time [BTW What the hell is her deal . ..
