The problem is that the "radical members" are the founders and leaders.

Case in point of an example of someone who have all kind of excuses, often made up ones. Bobby is an extreme example, but nevertheless, there are folks like this out there.

What these critics don't understand is that there is a war going on against all the members of the BLM movement, and the leaders of that war are radicals on the opposite side.

Yes but that is the nature of many people. Look at the Tea Party.... there were constant cries of racism. No doubt there were some members that were blatantly racist.... but there were also I am sure many members that were not.

Most movements face a lot of criticism and resentment. There almost has to be a sharp divide for a movement to gain steam.

There isn't a "war" going on.

Absolutely, it takes the most passionate and polarized for them to get up and stand for something.

Well, yes, a movement is something that MOVE a significant thoughts or ideas forward and will push against sameness.

I'm sure some view the TEA movement as racists because of their timing (where were they during Bush $$$$$$$). It's a meh to me and I think to many others as well. Racists might be a bit more prevalent within their members, but that's just because of who made up most of their members, not because of the movement itself.

To me, they are an ultra right group. Against any spending (except military). Reduce debt at any cost (shut down government). Reduce tax at any costs (wouldn't touch debt reduction for $1 in tax increase, but again domestic and nothing military). All out war or total surrender mentality is another extreme view of their. Racists is not part of their agenda and not that worthy of being mentioned given their main views. They also have some very strong social views, but that I think is also more of because of their membership makeup then their agenda.

I believe that's an accurate view of them and I think most think of the TEA party in that way. There are some attractive things in their agendas, but the extreme method of how they want to accomplish those agendas completely loses most folks.

And I believe the accurate view of the BLM movement is one asking for help to be treated equal. That's not a radical view. It's a very normal human wanting. There won't be a "BLM party" but the idea of their movement is seeding and changing folks thinking. It's not at all radical and those that are against that idea of being treated equal is the one that are radical or is very dismissive of there being an unequal treatment of blacks bias.

Sorry, but Jeb, Trump, Ben Carson etc. won't make Black Lives Matter important to their campaigns like Bernie is now doing.

Blacklivesmatter# has a number of leaders with strong socialist tendencies. I would say that there is certainly a radical element.

Having said that.... people criticized the black community for lacking leaders and being "led" by no one or people like Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton. Well now black Americans are getting more politically involved on issues of income, social unrest and drug reform. I believe in the long term it is good, as the black community has often times been purely at the mercy of the white majority.

and then it came out that he was black, and then he erased his tweet?

That's especially brutal given that the shooter turned out to be nothing more than a racist black man.

Hmm, looks like he might have been one of yours, BLM:

CBS journalists shot and killed during live broadcast in Virginia; suspect dead

...ABC News said that it received a 23-page fax on Wednesday morning from someone claiming to be Williams.

In it, Williams writes that he was motivated, in part, to avenge the deaths of nine black churchgoers in Charleston in June.

“Why did I do it? I put down a deposit for a gun on 6/19/15. The Church shooting in Charleston happened on 6/17/15," he wrote. “What sent me over the top was the church shooting. And my hollow point bullets have the victims’ initials on them." It's unclear which initials he is referring to. The news division said it turned the document over to the authorities.

“The church shooting was the tipping point ... but my anger has been building steadily," he continued. "I’ve been a human powder keg for a while ... just waiting to go BOOM!!!!”

    More detailed story here:

It was just a matter of time before some BLM nut exploded. You know, it's probably not healthy to carry all of that racial hatred around 24/7. Seems to have a way of making people go BOOM.

(And yeah, I know it's not fair to blame this on you BLM folks, but what's good for the goose is good for the gander... God knows that if the shooter were white, victims black, and the shooter made any mention of race at all you'd be dumping this crapola in our laps...)
