If I'm not mistaken, when Yao and TMac played in the same games, we had the highest winning percentage in at least one season, something in the .700% range. It was crazy how good we were. I think Dwight is awesome, and playoff Dwight could be MVP in the regular season. But Yao was just unstoppable when he got position, great free throw shooter, moves like a Dream, and one of the very few who were great at interviews, lol. Aaaaand TMac couldn't get out the first round, while Harden put this team on his back with Dwight out and led us to the best record in the toughest division in history. I'll just wait until we see how this Harden/Howard era plays out.

What nemesis? Nemesis is the name of a Star Trek movie. Yao Ming was a great Rocket who had to deal with Steve Francis, then Tmac. His true chance to shine was in the Portland series with Ron Artest and he did. Yao is the one who played with Rudy T, JVG, Rick and China in the summers.

You will have to get used to krxnsnoppy and his frequent meltdown modes. Yao is long gone and he is on a very busy schedule but he still makes time to defend Jeremy Lin in Jeremy Lin thread which usually ends up in him meting down.. :grin:
To be fair, krnxsnoppy never showed he was too bright to begin with. He tried to prove he is a Rockets fan by saying he attended a game when Jeremy Lin was playing! *laugh* Also, judging from his meltdown, looks like he is still reeling from the shellacking he received from Clutch in the other thread. I love the Rockets and I like Harden. I think Harden is a top player in the game today but that doesn't mean I think he's better than Mcgrady at his Rocket's best. I lived and breathed Rockets during the painful and disappointing years of the Tmac and Yao era. Yet, I still appreciate the joys they brought to me as a fan watching those games and the anticipations prior to every season. That's part of being a fan, so I'll always be a fan of those guys. Being a fan means you don't trash a player, who gave it their all- to the point of injuries, long after their gone, just because they didn't win you a chip.
If you're a fan of the Rockets, you'd know how little help Tmac and Yao had during those mid 2000s playoff series. I hope Harden, but I have yet to see him perform consistently, like I saw Tmac bring it every night in the Dallas and Utah series.
