I love that O'Brien gets on his coaching staff just as hard as the players. When he was lambasting them for babying the younger players during practice, that was great. It shows the players he is fair with everyone too.

BOB has been money this season. I think he's been more entertaining than Rex Ryan, and that's saying something. He's hard but fair. Seems like the kind of coach I would definitely enjoy playing for.

He's not even afraid to get in JJ's face. "The media's blowing smoke up your ass!!" Awesome.

When he was talking to the players about how to deal with the media....and going around the room role-playing...that was priceless. I'd venture to say that was as funny as Rex's famous "NOW LET'S GO GET A ****ING SNACK!!!" bit.

They are covering the hell out of it... almost as if they're recapping a game.

Which just goes to show that most of the media (esp sports talk radio media) is comprised of nothing more than average lazy sports fans that happen to get paid to talk about sports. There's no real sources, there's no real insight besides what we all see/read about.

Harden and Hopkins seem like they would be best friend with their interest in high fashion lol

All the Cushing stuff was great, loved the Cushing vs Blue scenes. I'm assuming we will get more of the QB battle in future episodes. OB is the runaway star for me, and Ben Jones needs more screen time lol

the preseason game footage was a little slow but it was interesting to see the reason of the 3rd and 3 QB sneak.

Cush is hilarious. Charles James is easy to root for. I felt bad for Trail but i'm suprised they didn't do a little focus on his replacement (Kourtnei Brown) especially after he big plays in the game.

If it was when I was listening, he was talking about how his "hands look", and how he looks rusty, and this was entirely based on last night's episode.

First of all, we don't know exactly when that footage they showed last night was obtained... could have been a couple of weeks ago as his true return to practice (which happened monday) was what was shown at the very end (where he put pads on), and I doubt HBO has much footage from that ready to go yet.

Secondly, this is not inside info... this is attempting to draw conclusions based on footage that is available to everybody (hence, what any average sports fan could perform).

He was also going off about how he doubt Clowney can come back and play week 1 without playing in a pre-season game (which absolutely has zero shred of truth). In fact, I'm not sure if Clowney would gain much by dominating another pre-season game (as he did last year)... things will still move at a much different speed come regular season.

(I will say that out of all the sports 790 personalities, Lance does have a little extra insight on football thanks to his dad... but the rest of them aren't giving much more to the public other than what could be garnered from a message board or a sports bar with slightly in-tune sports fans).

LOL, "inside information" = last night's HK episode.

That pretty much sums up the majority of today's sports reporting.

Surprised a few people enjoyed last night's episode so much.. thought it was a snoozer. If it weren't my Texans, I would be hating a lot harder. Hopefully the next three are a lot better.

Objectively I thought this episode wasn't nearly as entertaining as the first, but it did focus more on football. I did laugh when Kareem Jackson said he'd give up a game check if they run a QB Draw with Mallett in a regular season game. Then I had to explain to my wife what a QB Draw was.

No one's going to talk about how Nuk said "Hey, would y'all judge me if I got a little yorkie and carried it around in my MAN-bag?" and all the other WR's are like WTF.
