This. No excuse for him not to be in the lineup everyday at this point. One of the better hitters on the team.
A lot of good versatility from Marwin tonight... making his first start in LF in a long while (and looking good out there)... then Hinch does the smart thing and move him to first (rather than keeping Carter in), and keeping him in the lineup. Marwin is the closest thing to Billy Spiers (minus true awesomeness as Spiers was one of my all-time favorites).
yep. So much complaining about AJ when people disagree and/or when we lose. Solid moves by AJ..starting Marwin in LF, moving him to 1B here, letting Gregerson go 2, etc. Loving Marwin in this 2nd half. Without him stabilizing the lineup..wow, it could be so much rougher. Lynchpin
The worst thing about Carter is seeing him pinch hit and strike out constantly when the Giants PH Bumgarner today and he gets a single (dude is also hitting .260 on the year).
Astros with the walk off, Texans Hard Knocks, and Jason Eugene Terry resigns with the Rockets. Good night in the sports world for Houston
