So I am looking to buy a new bag to take to the office to hold my laptop and other things. I am liking this cole haan bag but wanted to see if any of the other gents on here had any other reviews/recommendations for other bags. I am not looking to drop a ton of cash on it, but I wouldn't mind spending $400-$500 if the bag is nice and will last me a good decade plus. This is the one I was looking at. Anyone else have this or anything similar? http://www.colehaan.com/wayland-messenger-black/F10115.html?dwvar_F10115_color=Black Spoiler Spoiler
I like this billykirk satchel. Minimalist design and a little below your target price range. https://www.jcrew.com/mens_category/bags/PRDOVR~34005/34005.jsp http://www.billykirk.com/products/no-236-schoolboy-satchel-black https://bonobos.com/products/billykirk-schoolboy-satchel?color=mahogany&size=os https://bonobos.com/products/billykirk-schoolboy-satchel?color=black
That is one sweet bag. Did the leather need a little breaking in at all? I really like this one. Thanks a lot.
I just ordered this: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00K6QJCMK?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00 Haven't used it yet. May be a bit small for a laptop but the have other designs.
I don't have that exact same Billykirk bag, but they make good quality bags at a very good value. These things tend to sell out quickly online. Here is a review of their bags. http://www.magnificentbastard.com/posts/ask-the-mb-leather-bag-for-21-year-olds-birthday
Ghey. The only acceptable bag for a man to take to work is a backpack. Or sportsbag if you work in some kind of sports environment.
Bahaha a backpack... I am not in high school or college. I graduated both of those, did you? Ghey is admitting you arranged your trip to America (in the GARM of all places) around wrestle mania on a rockets fan site.
I can't stand those techie types with backpacks. They are such a pain in the subway - they never take them off and just bump everyone cluelessly and get in the way. Total A-holes.
I stand by my pro backpack, anti 'man' bag stance. Maybe it's cultural. Generally speaking, if you have to name something with the word 'man' in front of it, it's probably not a man thing.
When they invented laptops which fit into laptop bags which douchebags who are too insecure about their masculinity call a man-bag to compensate.
They make pretty great stuff that is really durable. I use one of their messenger type bags that has more of a business functional look. http://www.amazon.com/Tumi-Luggage-...4011&refinements=p_lbr_brands_browse-bin:Tumi
I am so confused... screw whatever Euro bag this is and the backpack. Y'all need to have legit briefcases that can fit a laptop and some work papers. Something like the thing in the pic below... Leather version is okay too. No need for these Metro bags in the earlier posts. And I work with Investment Bankers and Lawyers downtown so I know this is the norm. http://www.nylonbagshop.com/650/mul...wn-laptop-bag-14-inch-computer-briefcase-.jpg
