    Disagree.

I've followed his posts for quite some and he is either a very well done character or just a very dumb individual.

You're time is better spent promoting other people to ignore him.

Personally, I prefer they both do great. D-Mo obviously was breaking out last season before (screw you basketball gods) he was struck down by injury. T-Jones, while extremely disappointing again in the playoffs against the elite PF's of the West, did in fact miss basically the entire season with various freak injuries and was obviously out of condition and rusty. He looked really good when the season started, even when his shot wasn't following. When he came back, he moved with a lot less certainty.

If both do great, I realize that we can only keep one, but at least in the short run, it will be great for the Rockets. I am personally waiting for the season to hit AT LEAST the trade deadline to see who I would prefer keeping if we had to lose one of them. Right now, the fact is that D-Mo is coming off back surgery (HUGE question mark IMO) and has essentially zero (a whopping 5 minutes) playoffs experience. T-Jones on the other hand, had three pretty bad ones, though I am willing to partially excuse the last series. At this point, Capela has proven, in his limited minutes, to be infinitely better than either one of them.

We can clearly see your hatred towards Jones and all of your motives now. He's a Houston Rocket and you still can't give the man props without slandering his name/game.

Good job Bobby, good job sir. LOL

Some teams are likely going to pay him for $15 per year, but not the rockets. Jones is very good on the offensive end, he could be very useful for some teams that can not score the points. The rockets need a PF who can play a good defense, I do not see Jone can do it.

anyone interested into market values of this offseason contracts should read this :
    http://nyloncalculus.com/2015/08/14/freelance-friday-grading-2015-nba-free-agent-salaries/

Much more analytical and comprehensive analysis than any other article I have read, esp from the predictions of the likes of Pelton or Ellhasan.

For the Rockets it estimates Brew's contract as average value (+9%) Berverley's and Kj's as massive bargain ( -76%).
The best is ofc Duncan's along with Bass and Hill and the worst is some vets' like Joel Anthony and Garnett along with Asik's.

Ha. Super pathetic (but predictable) that certain "fans" would find the camp invite news distressing.

    Good for TJ.

maybe the achilles injury was not considered in deeming wes matthews' $17.5M contract as average……also wonder how marcus thornton's vet min contract would have rated...

Another lesson we can draw from this.......other than the superstars, be very careful with your money when pursuing unrestricted free agents.

Jonas Valanciunas, Raptors Finalizing $60M+ Extension. D-Mo will look at this 15mil per contract as his floor. Terrence Jones, too.

^ Do you really think he's better than JV? At least in Lithuania, JV is seen as the better player. He was even featured in the Lithuanian "Dream Team" documentary whereas DMo wasn't even mentioned.

I think it is not an argument that JV plays harder, more physical to the basket than Dmo.

Dmo is more of a finesse guy and shooter but he has been average at shooting really.

    or below even that.

I think D-Mo has closed the gap significantly between himself and JV. D-mo has much better low post back to the basket moves and now legit 3-pt range. JV is a better rim protector and rebounder. Their overall numbers from last season are a toss up.

Valanciunas isn't that much better than D-Mo. I think D-Mo can surpass him this upcoming season.

I still think Jones and Motiejunas are about even. Both have decent upside.

JV is better than either IMO.

Younger, 12 ppg and, 9 rebounds per game to go with over 1 block per game and much higher efficiency.

    In fewer minutes too.

The Raptors have attempted to make JV the focal point of their offense and to date it has not worked. Terrence Jones put up 12pts, 7rb, 1.8 blks as the 4th/5th option at 23yrs old.

If you think that both players on THIS rocket team is even then you have no clue.

Tjones is a good player nothing more nothing less, but he is downright **** in the things we ask our PF to do.
    1.Rebounding
    2.Defense
    3.Space the floor

These are the 3 most important things we ask of our PFs and DMO is MUCH better then him in 2 of them, and i think his reboudning is also better.

Everyone wants to find excuses for jones but the fact of the matter is he got benched 2 years ago when everything was fine injury wise....

Unless he drastically improves his shooting or his physicality under the rim then he will never be a good fit.

Infact i have no clue y we didnt resign smith to the min and just ship him out for another asset , cuz smith is a FAR better player and fit for this team also

IF D-Mo was that much better than Jones, why was he not the starter?
