Indeed, both him and Bobby needs some serious help.

    Real talk!

With as much talk as I heard last night about the pipeline of players making Team USA, I think he has a chance. They are doing a good job of ensuring long term success with the team and they are going to need younger players down the line. I think it might be 4 years or so, but I think he gets to compete at some point, maybe not olympics, but in a qualifier.

At the very least he got to work out with some All-Star players and coaches, should be a confidence boost.

No man would call another hater mean tater. This is evidence, NickBoy. It's too "cute" to actually be argumentative and bbh likes to argue and push buttons. I move for further research.

Edit: Bobbythegreat has never once said anything about that turd of a player, Aaron Craft. So, they are likely not the same person, but can be punchbowl turds at times. Would it hurt to say something positive, fellas?

Oh Hollic... Stay Golden, and True. May you never change.

I hope Terrence Jones retires a Rocket in 15 more seasons just to spite these anti-fans who only want the Rockets team THEY WANT rather than the Rockets team THEY HAVE to root for.

    Truth is positive bro.

Harden is the best SG on the planet.
Dwight is the best defensive center in the league.
DMo is on an upward career trajectory if he comes back from his back injury healthy.
Rockets have good players on value contracts that they should be able to trade if another superstar becomes available.
Harden, on his max contract, is the 29th highest paid player in the NBA and the 5th highest paid SG (Kobe, Joe Johnson, Jimmy Butler, Wesley Matthews) this upcoming season.
We may be able to trade for DeMarcus Cousin or Kevin Durant before or at the trade deadline and we should be in the running for KD next summer.
We are a couple small steps away from competing for a championship.

Those are all facts and they are positive, don.

But there are also things that are negative.

Objectivity is important in the pursuit of a championship. We cannot pretend everything is hunky dory when there's more work to do. Right now, we aren't good enough nor deep enough at our big man rotation spots to win a championship. The 2015 playoffs proved that. Our weaknesses are primarily rebounding, defense, and 3-point shooting. We need more of those 3 things at the 4 spot alongside Dwight. There has to be an upgrade there for us to compete for a championship. That brings some of the focus to Terrence because he is the weak link right now in that rotation.

And regarding Terrence there is still a lack of objectivity among a large number of posters here. Hence, the recent attack on Bobby, calling him names, calling him a hater, simply because he stated Terrence wasn't going to make the National Team. It's simply a fact that Terrence isn't going to make the team. But yet, he gets hated on and called a hater for pointing that fact out.

People are pumping Terrence over last night's "performance". It's a fact that Terrence's "performance" last night means absolutely nothing in regards to how he is going to perform this upcoming season. That is neither positive nor negative. It's neutral. There is no info regarding Terrence's offseason improvement or lack thereof that we can extrapolate out of last night's performance.

Everyone has a right to their opinion regarding our team, our players, and our status in the league in our pursuit of a championship. Just because someone is convinced a certain player is going to be traded or a certain player isn't going to help us win a championship doesn't mean they hate the player or hate the team or they are all negative. There is 10 times the negativity expressed towards posters who simply state their opinion of one of our players or our team than there is actually discussion of the facts regarding the player or the team. And that is what weighs this board down. You guys spend 90% of your time criticizing other posters instead of talking about the team.

Talk about the team, the players, the organization, the front office, the coaches, etc. And let's have discussion on that. And quit critiquing and spewing pages after page of crap about other posters. It's okay to disagree. We can disagree and still be homers. There's no reason outside of being remedial in your communication ability to spend so much time, effort, and energy criticizing other posters for their opinions, calling them names, and engaging in personal attacks when we could be discussing basketball. If you really love basketball and you really love the team you'll readily see my point. If you don't really love basketball and/or you don't really love the team you'll continue to engage in poster bashing.

Its quite hilarious that through their campaign to crush Terrence Jones, Hollic & Bobby have made Jones the most talked about and debated Rocket in years. Its Linesque at the very least.

Hollic and Bobby might have been the best thing that ever happened to Jones within this fan community. You two guys have truly made him into a star.

Congrats.... its just like the way Twitter made Sharknado a must-watch show, or how nut case political TV show hosts are so asinine they actually make people want to vote & support the other side. How many FoxNews viewers wouldn't even know or care about Jon Stewart if Fox News guys weren't constantly talking about Jon Stewart?

Then there is the Morey factor. We know he has to see and read some of this stuff. Some of it is so asinine I'm sure he's rooting for his player to prove the nutcases wrong. He's probably going to troll everyone and offer him an extension just to piss off idiot fans who don't know how good they got it, and feel entitled to have a say so in the roster they root for.

So again.... Congratulations Hollic & Bobby... You have helped berth a star.

And truth isn't positive. That's the most idiotic thing I've ever heard. It's like a person saying they're just being honest and then insulting you with their opinion. Fish it out of your system and stop starting threads that are obviously going to lead to this. Think of this forum as a punchbowl. Think about your threads as potential fruit, ice, punch or floating turd. Then, and only then, hit 'submit'. I don't even know why I came back here.

turd-turd-turd your punch, gently down the site

I voted yes, contingent upon his obtaining Lithuanian citizenship.
