Black Republicans getting the black vote hasn't been a given since Reconstruction.

Sure, if you consider a Greece a place where everyone can equally fail.

Good try, but Greece is famous for their oligarchs paying no taxes which makes it much more your type of society. How come the folks in Scandinavia which have high taxes and follow the opposite of your policies are not Greece? I know; if the Scandinavians just stick to their policies they will all fail equally too.

Meanwhile you undoubtedly have faith that if we can just stick with Reagan/ Milton Friedman supply side economics deregualation and tax breaks for the wealthy for another generation or two the trickle down will finally start. You may be content, but the Sanders' movement and even the irrational Tea Party show that many are not so content to ignore 35 years of recent history and keep your faith.

That is not what Karl Marx defined it as. Under your definition then the ACA is socialism along with other things Obama has done. In other words this is one area where you agree with the Tea Party.

Anyway you miss my point. My point is that even though Bernie Sanders has identified as a Socialist that shouldn't be much of a concern as even though he is on the Left of the American political spectrum his policies aren't that far out of the mainstream.

The truth is though there are very few actual Socialist economies or Capitalist economies. Almost all national economies are a mix of Capitalist and Socialist with some leaning more one way or the other.
