If you want a simple yes or no add a pole. My answer is maybe, if Plumlee made it last year(He did didn't he?) then Jones has a shot. Also, i'm convinced BobbyTheGreat and Bballholic are the same person now, lulz.
Woops, guess my screen didn't load the poll in time before when I made my first post, nevermind my bad.
Ok, just for you, a poll. But remember, if you vote no you must be a Terrence hater according to you and many others.
Of course not, but that's not the point. He's getting to get some practice time as a body on the national team and I'm sure he's happy about it.
He's not part of the 34-man roster, so no, he won't make the team. The Showcase rosters include members of the USA National Team and five additional invited NBA players (Afflalo, Johnson, Jones, Payton, and Watson) who will participate in just the exhibition game portion of the mini-camp. Another not-so-clever Terrence Jones hate thread. Never fails.
Hater, hater, mean ole tater! I can't believe you're not happy Terrence got invited to practice with them. What's wrong with you man. Why do you hate Terrence so much?
Invited as a college star, invited with only 1 year of NBA play. NBA is a brotherhood, so I wouldn't be surprised if one year he does make it. This year? Of course not. That's not the point and I feel sorry for the mind that actually thought so. The invite means all the top dawgs are tipping their hat at him and would like to work out against cool guys that can play and with budding talent. It's an honor for him and the Rockets and it's a progression in his young career.
No not according to me, those are not my words at all. I my self doubt Jones makes it, but do believe he does have a shot. What makes someone possibly be perceived as a Jones "hater", is constantly undervaluing him in numerous post, or doing things like going on a "He'l never make the team" rant immediately after the news broke that he was invited, that's just not something a supportive fan would do.
Huh? Terrence is entering his 4th year as an NBA player. As J.R. pointed out, he's not even eligible to make the team at this point. So, no, he won't make the national team.
That doesn't matter, does it? You can't say he has no chance of making the team. Otherwise you're a Terrence hater. And we don't want to be Terrence haters now, do we? #postersattackingpostersbycallingthemnamesbecausetheydisagreewiththeiropinionsinsteadofsimplytalkingbasketballisawasteoftimeandanexhibitionoflackofbasketballknowledge
1st year Vipers, 2nd year NBA, 3rd year 99% freak injury erased. But the Lakers fans on this Rockets board want to act like he is in his 7th year, "worse than Stromile Swift" etc. Get your forks and knives ready you lakers fans. I'm goin slow n low, smoke n wrap on this crow I'm BBQing for y'all. It's gonna be a fun year.
You've taken semantics to another stratosphere. He's played in 153 NBA games. BTW, don't mistake me for one of these Jones haters that you seem to be on a crusade against. I'm optimistic that he'll return to performing like he did at the beginning of last season. I'm just not gonna lie to myself about his level of NBA experience.
