Good news. Hopefully he looks great and it increases his trade value.

Why? DMo has been on his country's national team since he was like 16. The fact that Jones is the 3rd best PF on half of the US national team that is missing a lot of the eventual starters is kind of fun though. I'm sure Jones and C.J. Watson are happy about getting to practice with them a bit before missing the cut.

Mmmhmm. Trying to diminish the great honor it is to be invited to Team USA camp. #TrueColors

LOL he should be honored that they let him come practice with them for a little while, but it means nothing really because it's not like he has any chance at all of making the final roster.

Good for Terrence Jones. Will be great experience.

Some people don't think he belongs in the NBA or shouldn't get minutes. More evidence they are wrong.

Of course. They would be blown out by the Lithuanians. And yes, the whole USA team sucks is really a "thing." ;)

Again, it's painfully obvious you completely miss the point of being invited to Team USA Camp. Here's something that might also blow your mind....did you know they also sometimes invite college basketball players, like Doug McDermott in 2013? Whoooaaaahh Duuuuude...

Oh I didn't miss anything about it. Like I said, Jones should be happy that they are letting him go practice with them a bit......but let's not pretend like he just got accepted to be a part of the Dream Team.....or even got accepted to be a part of the actual US national team.

No one is even remotely pretending or suggesting that. It's simply "game recognize game", you have to be a youngin' that shows promise & potential to get an invite like that. Guys like Elfrid Payton. Chandler Parsons last year, etc. And lots of really promising guys still don't get the invite. These guys basically get an All-Star training session. They pick up tricks of the trade that All-Stars do, get world-class coaching, and get a giant shot of confidence.

LOL that's really making a mountain out of a molehill. It means next to nothing.

    Also....
We're talking about Tom Thibodeau here....let's not confuse that with "world-class coaching"

LOL Dang bruh, you really can't do wrong right can you?

The 2014-16 USA Basketball National Team coaching staff features USA head coach and Duke University’s Naismith Hall of Fame mentor Mike Krzyzewski. Serving as assistant coaches are Jim Boeheim (Syracuse University), Tom Thibodeau and Monty Williams (Oklahoma City Thunder).

....And Jones isn't going to be on the actual national team, he's just getting to be a practice body for a while for something coached by Thibs.

Now Bobby thinks Thibodeaux is a bad coach.

As if we needed any more reason to completely ignore his opinions
