I think it just depends on the player. The more talent/potential, the more patience they have with them. Look at Darryl Sharpton, guy probably played 4 games a year but he lasted 4 years. Ok, bad example maybe. #Kubiak

One of the best things that might be coming out of hard knocks might be Hopkins trash talking. I don't think we've seen this side of him before. He has been mostly quiet his career so far.
I don't know why but this makes me feel like Nuk will be blowing up this year. Gonna make forgetting about Dre easier. As long as he has someone that can get him the ball of course.
The fans haven't seen this side before... the fans perceive that he's been mostly quiet in his career so far. I doubt he all of a sudden started trash talking once the cameras were on... at the same time, I doubt the cameras accurately reflect how any of these guys "really" are. It does make for good entertainment though...

I remember him being interviewed his rookie year and he said he is not much of a trash talker that he just lets his play on the field do the talking. I believe I noticed it on the field as well. He just got up after a play without saying much. Maybe it was the Andre Johnson effect. But I'm more surprised about the twitter exchange. That's beyond the field at this point.
repped. People will always find something to b**** about...the best defensive player in the league tries to hard and practices too much to be better...wwwwaaaaahahhhhhh
The thing about Watt is, he really is THAT good. He's far and away the best defensive player in the league and was legitimately a candidate for MVP last season. That doesn't just happen. I have no doubt that he actually works that hard and it shouldn't surprise us to the point of assuming it was all for the cameras.
Was that before or after he was taking pictures of his junk for mass viewing? Unless you're physically out on that field with these guys, or in the locker room with these guys, I wouldn't presume for one second that they are who they seem they are. Then again, he's now the for-sure #1 guy, who will be getting the opposing team's #1 corner nearly every game... so perhaps that's going to lead to a little more back and forth.
Hall going with the reverse "did I stutter" comeback to a burn is almost as much a fail as him getting his ankles broken. All Hopkins does is win against Hall.
I didn't know about the pictures (wow!) but that still says nothing about trash talking. We obviously don't know who the guy really is, only thing we can discuss is what they let us see (no junk pun intended). He is obviously letting us see more trash talking (twitter and in practice) now, let's enjoy it
Is pointing out that it felt contrived and manufactured really b****ing? It has no bearing on our appreciation/respect for his abilities as a football player. It's actually the first time anything he's done has registered false with me - and this is coming from someone who had a legitimate too-to-be-true experience when working with him. He has zeroed on a very specific personality and the extended practice montage rang of being a little too on target.
