Yeah, my bad, pretty sure I replied to the wrong post there.

I miss Joe Garagiola, Harry Kalas, those kinda guys. Was cool to see Dewayne Staats still doing work for the Rays, I remember him from way back (hard name to forget when you're a kid). Whenever Scully hangs it up it will be like when Keith Jackson stopped doing ABC college football games. It just doesn't sound right without him.

The problem is, Harry wasn't trying to be funny...the dementia was.

Angels is a team that is playing very bad baseball. They started very bad, then won a lot of games, and are playing awful again.

Our 1 and 7 road trip is awful, and still in first place, it says a lot about the Astros but also about the Angels. Now, Rangers are only 3 back on the loss column, is going to be tough to win the division or WC, but, anything can happen.

There's a ton of season left...also, what do you think the last 3+ seasons of awfulness prepared us for? To withstand bad stretches such as this even when the team is good again.

This would be the three-quel of bad road trips.

Ironically, they all started with Correa's call up.

That's it... Stop taking the kid on road trips. Can't even drink... Ruining chemistry.

Saying Bob Costas has gotten slightly more insufferable is like saying Donald Trump has gotten slightly less classy.

their offense overall is just as disgusting as ours is on the road. i personally don't fear the rangers, that bullpen will continue to give up games like tonight. think hamels just got hurt as well.

We knew this would happen, this team is built on homeruns and strike outs.. I'm not sure why everyone is shocked.. We'll get red hot again, wouldn't be surprised if even Carter has a super hot streak before this season ends..

I'm just glad our pitching staff wasn't fool's gold.

Moved here from SF Bay Area. Giants have had great announcers over time... Jon Miller is a great one, but in the past they had Lon Simmons and for a season or two they had Simmons and Al Michaels. The Giants were a horrible team then, and Simmons and Michaels struggled to keep fan interest, which led to some of the funniest commentating on a team I ever heard.

Obviously, more offense is deemed more necessary than more defense.

Wow. Forgot how awkward this roster is for national league crossover games. We basically have four DH/first basemen on the roster, between Carter, Gattis, Tucker and Valbuena.
