The Marlins seem to have finally diagnosed the underlying issue that has sidelined righty Jarred Cosart for long stretches this year, MLB.com’s Joe Frisaro reports. Cosart, a significant trade acquisition last summer, has a disorder in his inner ear that has caused him difficulties with his balance. It’s not hard to imagine how significant an impact that may have had on the 25-year-old, who has struggled this year. The hope is that he’ll be able to receive treatment to ameliorate the issue and return to the bump later this year. http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/jarred-cosart
I'm assuming he suffers from Meneirs. I have the same spells and it sucks. Can't imagine a profesional athlete dealing with it. Pray he manages it some way.
What have the Giants done to our Hunter Pence, He's wearing knickers, one batting glove, one sleeve, and scruffy wild man look. He's gone wolf.
Kike Hernandez this year with the Dodgers. .291/.338/.520 wRC+ 138 Wished we could have kept him. He sure seemed like a throw in to the Marlins.
Kike is a solid player but ultimately his production is replaceable. I'm pretty confident in Luhnow's ability to find Kike-esque players on a whim. If it means trading or throwing in those players for better players, so be it. Gotta give something to get something. As long as we have Luhnow's crew evaluating and selecting talent, we should be fine.
He was the only one I was upset to see go in that trade. Hes having a blast in LA, his personality was made for the Cali lifestyle. Him and Springer wouldve been fun to watch in the dugout. Google rally banana.

We don't have a utility player easily replacing that kind of production right now so I would say your confidence isn't being rewarded.
I wish we could have hung on to him. He just really looked like he was going to be a solid player for a long time plus he has just great energy, one of those great chemistry guys.
Marwin is doing good, especially lately, now, Kike can play the OF better. Our problem is not our utility, we have a good one, our problem is CC and Gattis right now, our DH.
Just my impression. Bad teams usually don't trade prospects and comp picks and ask for utility players in return or maybe they shouldn't rather.

I don't really follow the Brewers system beyond looking at the odd box score, but I was a little surprised Santana wasn't sent straight to the big league club given the Brewers lost Gomez and Parra in the same week. Any speculation as to why it has taken a bit longer for Domingo to get back to the show?
