The worry about the Astros road play are valid and not over exaggerated. It appears to be mainly mental and not a lack of ability because of their great play at home. Like I expressed earlier in this thread, in a hostile environment the moment just seems too big for a lot of the position players right now. This may just be the growing pains of a young team not use to competing in a playoff chase. It doesn't make it any less frustrating to watch though.
It's crazy how crappy the offense is on the road. It boggles my mind. Im posting this after the Valbuena strike out in an effort to jinx them. Let's hope it works.
I really really really dislike chris carter. he is a giant black hole right now. this whole lineup on the road is just suck.
Yeah, I really don't understand Carter's presence in the line-up. A low average slugger with ridiculously high strike-out numbers is less useful than a slumping Gattis.
Playoffs? Playoffs? Lets first get to 81 wins and then talk about playoffs, because if we continue this pitiful way of hitting on the road, we have no chance on the playoffs, but we should win 81 games.
