Or can someone just make the stripes and collar gold? I'd like to see how that looks. They gray sucks.
I thought the numbers were supposed to look a bit different? Not like it matters....the jersey remains a disaster. Love the red and yellow alternates, though.
Just to get an idea I slopped together the adjustments I thought would look better, (joining of stripe lines around arms into a single line over the top of the shoulder and turning all stripes and collar gold) and the uniform actually looks pretty sweet. Can anyone photoshop these two changes for me? I suck at trying to upload pictures.
The real problem is, our alternates aren't our main jerseys! By the way..MZ's arms look totally photoshopped..lol
looking at these pics again, that uniform is truly atrocious. does not look like an nba design. looks like something you'd expect to see on an amateur bball league team in turkey or china maybe.
Better than the old cut, but the design still looks like crap. Don't unterstand why we haven't been updating the jerseys for over a decade now.
The jerseys still look awful. Bottom three in the league. I hate those grey stripes no matter the cut. Now they may not make players look "fat" but they look like a highschool jersey. I hope next year we have new jerseys. A team must prepare the new jerseys at least 6 months before the new season if they want to change them and I think they must pay a fee to the league.
The real problem is the stupidity of changing uniforms after two championships. I long for a return to a real Rockets uniform. It's not as bad as Bud Adams (may he rot in hell) moving the Oilers, but a similar "something is wrong with the universe" kind of thing.
The new jersey cut with the thinner shoulders looks great. Matches the alternate. Cool. Great job Rockets!
Well, it would match the alternate if they still had the red and yellow "Houston" alternate. But they aren't wearing that alternate next year. The two alternates next year are both sleeved.
I don't even know where to start. Worst jersey in the league. I will never wear one of those. It looks just as terrible and awkward. Those stripes on the shorts and jersey are so disgusting. Good god Rockets management. I don't think this is true, where did you see this? The ones that got leaked (grey, clutch city) are just new additions.. alternate#2 and pride #1. They aren't getting rid of the the red+yellow.
I'm not sure because the Adidas catalog listed all of the alternate uniforms for every team, including the same alternates wore the year before if they were going to wear them next year. But the Rockets' alternate from last year was not listed. So I am under the impression that it has been replaced.
