I think as long as Koscielny is healthy that should help with Mertesacker. I don't think Giroud is an issue for Arsenal in terms of winning the league but rather the lack of quality depth at striker after him. If Giroud goes down injured, they'll be screwed. Wellbeck is a fantastic person but nothing exceptional as a striker. Walcott will probably get injured at some point and miss a ton of matches. Spot on about Le Coq. Completely agree he's the most important player on that team.
Meant for the opposing player that Messi choked/headbutted. He initated the contact with the headbutt, it warranted at least a yellow(which he did get), Messi's retaliation(the hands around his throat) that warranted a straight up red but got a yellow. Earlier in the play the opposing player gave Messi in my opinion a soft body check so that was probably pissed off Messi. I would put a vine, but im not sure how to embed looool
Alright guys, 5000 words but please have a read and tell me what you thin. Here is my predictions... http://wp.me/p1Fnc8-52 Also keep in mind we spell words different to you American's so excuse the spelling
I thought it would be strange that they'd buy in a 3rd striker, but apparently this was just speculation. Damn British press.
Keep your calm and watch United lead 1-0. Opening goal of the EPL season being an own goal for the first time ever
That just looked silly...Rooney hesitated for so long that the defender couldn't move out of the way and scored the own goal. Really weak level of play, I found. Lots of improvement necessary. I guess I'm spoiled by usually watching Bayern play.
I bet there is no one in the world more happy than Asmir Begovic right now. I was surprised he didn't give the ref a fist bump as he walked onto the pitch. He probably wasn't even as bummed as he would normally be that he didn't save the penalty, all he knows is he is playing this early in the season and will be playing in the next match. Nothing can blow his high right now I bet.
He only played 30 minutes. Received a very warm welcome from the crowd. Some nice passing. Lost the ball once. Was trying to direct traffic, which seems very much necessary with players constantly being out of place. Not totally fit yet. Grades from the English press not great. But the speed of the PL won't be a problem for him. Once he rounds into shape, should be able to dominate in the PL. Sadly, have to say that other than Basti, probably none of the Man U players would earn a starting spot on Bayern. Romero did ok as a goalkeeper, but he kept giving the ball away. Smalling seems kind of challenged with the ball as well. Blind isn't first team material. Young ran into his defender several times. I thought Mata played pretty well, but needs to let go of the ball a bit quicker. Memphis Depay didn't show me much.
Isn't Yung-T intern at Carl-Zeiss Jena? They just eliminated Hamburger SV in overtime in the first round of the german cup. Finally some justice.
