    guaranteed contract.

the rockets aren't paying the tax when they are so close to getting under it.

This sucks, esp. w/ so much uncertainty surrounding Ty.

Terry was running on fumes last year. I personally don't think he has much left.

My primary reasons for wanting him back have very little to do with what he contributes on the court. That said, I don't love the idea of going into the season with basically just Harden and Bev... not if Ty really is going to be suspended for up to 15 games. I agree Jet probably doesn't have much left, but he's better than nothing.

it's not about paying the tax, but it's about having flexibility to make moves during the season for a player to push us over the top

He was playing way too many minutes last season. In small doses, Jet is a great fit.

I respect the hell out of what New Orleans is doing. They're an up and coming team, BUT...choosing them over us (if all things are equal) would be a very poor choice. Terry has maybe one year left, and NO just isn't on our level yet.

lol watch us make moves during the season to dump players to push us under the tax line -- yet again

Thornton gives you at least as much as Terry does.

I'd like to have him back, but if he'd rather go to New Orleans then I ain't even mad.

Want a shooter instead? Sign Brady Heslip. Either way...it's an upgrade to JET. Heslip is the far superior shooter to JET. And Craft is a better defender than Beverley.

There's no reason to bring JET back.

Nick Johnson couldn't crack the rotation, so obviously a less talented, less athletic version of Johnson with no scoring instincts would. I mean, amirite?

No reason to bring her back? His leadership is reason enough, wasn't it said he was the organizer of a meeting with Dwight and harden last season to try and get them on the same page? Aaron craft my ars
