Correa has similar rookie year #s to Brett Lawrie given this # of games so we need to see a little more, but I'm fairly sold. I don't think he's near the level of Trout but the upside is immense and he's only 20. Good point about him playing a premium position, that elite level hitting ability at SS with solid defense is really freaking valuable, since the vast majority of SS besides Tulowitzki are average to very bad hitters.
Yeah Feigen and Creech are decent. They don't get any scoops or anything though, just a bunch of stuff we already know. They also like to play Switzerland.
Don't understand why Hinch puts Grego in to face Vogt. Would leave Sipp in there for Vogt if I were him and then make the move.
Seriously??? Correa has more HRs than Lawrie did but otherwise you're right about the stats. However Lawrie was not considered the top prospect in either the Brewers or Jays system. His hot start was a fluke. Check his minor league numbers in comparison to Correa. Correa was projected as a top-3 MLB prospect until his call up. He does everything better than Lawrie including his defense. Correa will be a perennial all-star and gold-glove candidate. I don't think we need to temper our expectations much.
