Hillary going down in flames would be a victory for the country, but I would have to get a whole new set of arguments against another Democratic candidate. Hillary has dirty laundry stretching from White Water to her esmells. And how can women respect her when she looked the other way when Bill was nailing every skirt that ruffled?

If Monica can blow it, so can Hillary.

I've read a similar observation that Trump could win Iowa/New Hampshire but doesn't stand a chance overall. From a source not quite so cynical about billionaires and TV money and the western world in general.

But while I do think Trump has a shot in Iowa (and none overall) I don't think Bernie stands a chance against Hillary -- even in the early caucuses.

    She's not dead. She's resting.

Hey, contentment about billionaires, and TV money in politics is pretty common among the the 10 to 20 percent of Americans who are still doing about the same as a generation ago.

You could be correct, but the anger against the billionaires and their phony promises of trickle down if we just give them enough tax breaks is building.

The Bush-Romney -Clinton-Obama axis will not be holding much longer.

Man, we are still a year and half out. The next six months are about as significant preseason college football polls.

People in the US are so damn competitive all they think about is who's going to win and very little about the nitty gritty of policy.

To implement the nitty gritty of policy, a candidate first must win.

If Biden decides to run, he'll win pretty decisively. Don't think anyone could beat him in an election.

Disagree. Hillary, because she is a Democrat in a Democratic administration, can get away with flushing her suspect emails, but the smelly stench remains.

More so all political information comes from television and internet since the death of print media, news programs became ratings accountable once anchors started making eight figures, and elections are the only part of government that reminds viewers of sports and reality television.

At this point how can ANYONE consider voting for a candidate so reckless with U.S. national security?

Sure, there are some true believers who would vote for Charles Manson over a republican. Many of them reside here in the D&D.

But the swing voters. All it will take is advertising money, and the Republican nominee will have all of that they need to turn them off on Clinton once and for all. This is of course assuming she isn't under indictment by that time.

People will stay home in droves. Rather, what I should say is blue dog dems will stay home in droves.

The problem is that the current frontrunner for the Republican ticket is Donald Trump....and I'd actively campaign for Hillary if he won the nomination.

    NBC News/Marist poll January, 10 2016

    New Hampshire

    Sanders 50%
    Clinton 46%
    O'Malley 1%
    Undecided 3%

    Iowa

    Sanders 45%
    Clinton 48%
    O'Malley 5%
    Undecided 3%

The fact that Sanders is so competitive in Iowa this late is shocking. If Clinton loses both of these early states she's in deep trouble.
