I would be absolutely stunned, in a good way, if Arian comes back from this injury and contributes. I just dont see how you return and then not have a set back, specially with his history. And then he'll be let go in the offseason. Sucks that he could never stay healthy, the guy was an unbelievable talent.
hard to believe he's almost 30. He gave us some tremendous play. an undrafted player that only got his chance because the projected starter broke his ankle in preseason. the circle of running backs.

I'll bet you Arian will come back and make that decision even more difficult. Watch him come back and rush for like 1200 yards in 8 games.
Wouldn't shock me. There is a great financial incentive for him to be very effective this year. Players tend to have superhuman powers under these circumstances.
Sure, there's a chance that Arian gets a new deal to cut down on his cap hit, but IMO that's about the only way he's still here next season.
Anything to do with what he does (or doesn't do in the offseason)? The soft tissue issues seem to happen early in training camps, as if he's working out for the 1st time in months.
If you have to keep "your fingers crossed" for your most important offensive weapon, then why they hell don't you have a plan B waiting in the wings? That quote tells us all we need to know about McNair. He's great at making money, but he sucks as an owner.
Or, that's why they bulked up the defense, the WR corps, and have Blue (a guy they are pretty high on) backing up Foster.
