Big game tonight for a few reasons

    1) Angels won and need to keep fighting them off

    2) Don't want to let the Rangers get any closer, last thing we want is a 3 team race heading into September

    3) The biggest reason in my opinion, is Kazmir. We went out and got him as an Ace. I know there have been debates over who was the better starter traded at the deadline and all of that...but bottom line is, we decided to go for it and when we added him, it was to join Keuchel at the front of the rotation. One of the main reasons you get a guy like that, is to stop bad streaks. Right now we are struggling mightily to win on the road. Be a stopper tonight Kaz!

Y'all need to quit complaining about Altuve. He's a great player and an elite 2nd baseman. I hate to see people talk smack about their own team especially their best player to date. Correa and Dallas are catching up but to this point he's been through all the crap this organization has bestowed him like 3 100+ loss seasons. Did he ever complain and ask to get outta town? No. Stop ****ting on the most loyal player you guys have!

Don't think it has anything to do with his intelligence. He certainly comes across as a very smart man.

He is just extremely aggressive, it's worked for him

I do agree he is better hitting 2nd and not leadoff. We miss Springer there

Yea I don't think he is our "best" player, Correa/Keuchel would have that role.

I completely agree with the rest of your rant though. He has been the face of the organization through the worst of times.

With a few exceptions though, I don't think many of us complain about him overall as a player. Just don't like some of the situational stuff we see. He is a great hitter, great baserunner, and plays with a lot of heart. Ball all accounts he seems to LOVE being an Astro. Isn't the ideal leadoff hitter though.

    Same ol'...Good Lord.

Little DeShields dribbler turns into a hit.
Another bunt they can't make a play on, 1st & 3rd no outs.

    Gotta be kidding me.

I don't think he is dumb, as a person, but a guy that is leading off, SHOULD KNOW they need to work that count a little bit more.
If you are leading of a game, take pitches, that is a baseball rule, he needs TO LEARN.

Now, if you have men on base, swing to drive runs, but leading off???
