Every time I see someone react to the stuff he posts, they're always very dismissive. I personally don't know anyone who takes him seriously.
Aaron Wilson is going to blow his coverage out of the water. I think Wilson was the first to break that Pierre was not signing, and even if he wasn't, there would have been 5 national media reports before Mcclain got to it and McClain probably would have just claimed that the Texans "weren't interested" despite national reports that they were.
Bows before the Great Pancakes, who is so damn busy that he takes national sports talk show calls from his cell in Houston traffic. Dude is awesome!
He reported that the ticket was for illegal lane change....other sources have confirmed it was for speeding.
He is really good. Gonna be the best beat guy we've had in any sport in a long time. Probably even better than Footer was for the Astros.
Who wants to bet that he was heading to the nearest McDonalds so he can down 2 Big Macs as a late afternoon snack?
Cops are always out on the Katy Freeway. Just slow to 70 when going up an overpass, take a look at the valley and continue your speed.
I have been on I10 and 610 driving exactly 70 (I always cruise control to 70 over there) at least 300 times in the past five years. Never been pulled over once, even with cops riding right next to me. Maybe you had bad luck. And I feel kinda bad for John McLain. The #1 way to piss him off is to be a radio host inviting him on your show, and to ask him how his health is. It's like, "Geez John, are things going ok for you? Because they don't look that way on the outside!"
When he dies of cardiac/stroke anyone who says anything about his reporting will be outcast as despicable. So basically, never.
Oh yeah, ya know he illegally changed lanes because Eisen threw him off his game and he damn near missed the exit.
One of my clients is a Ravens season ticket holder and she reached out to me to sing this guy's praises. I hope she and you are correct!
