I look forward to getting to see this over and over again this season.

Luck owns us. Patriots seem to be the only team that can stop that guy.

We'll see. Both games last year were within one TD and the defense should be considerably better particularly with respect to the secondary.

Texans just keep losing. It will either be a blowout or a close loss in Houston.

Again, we'll see. The Colts aren't that good, and the Texans defense should be special.

Colts are very good. Defense is average but that offense will be deadly. AFC champs this year

I'm just not sold on how "deadly" their offense is going to be. They still have a fairly poor O line and I'm not sold that their off-season moves made them much better. An over the hill RB and an over the hill WR isn't the recipe for success.

Indy did make moves to shore up that defense so we'll just have to wait and see. Far too many folks around here are acting as if the Steel Curtain defense has somehow been resurrected in Houston and that's all they'll need to come out on top. I expect the Texans defense to be really good but not dominant enough to cover up for the anemic offense. Luck alone is the deciding advantage the Colts have over the Texans and will continue to be so until the Texans find themselves a franchise quarterback.

No more than any other team. Not that he's been bad against us, but he's only completed 52% of his passes against us. And he averages 230 yards against us, which is 2nd lowest among teams that have faced him more than once.

Far too many folks around here are acting like we should be gearing up for an 0-16 season just because we don't have Joe Montana at QB.

How many teams have franchise QBs right now? Should all the teams who don't just pack it in and forget about playing this season?

I still can't believe Aaron Wilson is OUR insider now. For the first time since about 1993, I'm actually proud of the Chronicle.

Didn't we go through the same thing last year? It was all doom and gloom because Fitz was going to be our QB. And we went 9-7. Now it's doom and gloom because we don't even have Fitz as our QB.

Some people just think that football is a one on one game played between QB's. Those people are always going to be upset that we missed out on stars like Johnny Manziel.

Credit John McClain for being his mentor as one of the key factors in Aaron coming down to H-town. Also helps that they moved Brian T. Smith off the beat and onto writing feature stories which opened up a slot.

Now if we could just do something about the Astros beat...
