Plenty of amateur theories have been offered about how a Hinch tirade could lead to much needed motivation... again, a lot of this stuff is overblown by fans who feel that umps should say something.
definitely read a lot of people saying he should "make sure the team knows he has their back". That can only be construed as motivation or morale or something of that sort.
The score ! Great app for all sports. I've used it while watching game and it updates well you just have to reload it
Thanks. I've been using The Score and have been pretty happy with it, but just checking to see what others use. I'll check out At Bat.
People just jumping to conclusions with our criticisms of Hinch. None of us have said Hinch sucks, needs to be fired, can't motivate, etc., just that he appears soft at times. It can be frustrating sometimes but some people apparently think Hinch should be free from criticism. It's just a simple observation.
He needs to get the ball back down where it belongs, not just the Fielder bomb, but he's been hanging way too many breaking balls.
Nobody said that you said those things. Trust me, the ump hears all sorts of things from the dugouts. Also, this just hit me...how many times has the opposing manager come out and b!tched this year? I can recall maybe once? Maybe it's just not done as much anymore? Also...that was really not ****ing pretty, Stros. Got lucky on the stop at 3rd. Rasmus & Correa owe some payback
I think we might need another 2 or 5 runs, but what a heart warming performance straily is putting on.
Yeah true, arguing with umps have gone down across the board. The league may have put in policies to protect the umps more against arguing and arguing possibly has gone down due to replays and challenges being implemented. The balls and strikes though is a huge problem and the umps shouldn't be allowed to be so inconsistent. Oh well, lol, just frustrating.
Freakin Moreland is a hell of a first baseman. Thought we could have made a push to get him last year.
