I'm not hopeful when it comes to QB. WR? Eh, ok. TE? I guess they have to be better than last year. Defense should be better yes, but if they're on the field a ton due to poor QB play and lack of a great RB, it won't really matter.

We'll need some luck to get into the Wild Card game.

I believe!! Houston sports is in a current up swing. Texans will manage until Foster gets back.

We should have kept Forsett. Luckily, running backs can be found easily sometimes.

Admittedly I'm trying to be optimistic, but honestly the schedule is really easy. If the defense plays like it can and Foster is out only like 8 games, they have a pretty good shot.

Let's face it, with a hard schedule, this would be killer though.

So that means no surgery but he's out all season long. Damn.

Nothing in the NFL comes easy. You can say that we have a favorable schedule but there are 6 losses on the schedule easily if things don't go right. This is not a good start.

Man it was obvious last season that Foster was getting a little long in the tooth...as a RB that means this should have been expected.

Big reason why a lot of people had us taking a RB early in the draft. If we had a great QB you could really put anyone back there at RB and succeed...but with Hopkins as our #1 WR...who knows at our QB...and RBBC by a few JAGs....

Offense is looking like it's going to be a problem.

And then we'll suffer an even "BI99ER" injury.

    Houston. Sports. Curse.

It's okay guys, I jinxed it. Carry on.

2 possible scenarios to overcome this tragedy. Watt at running back, limit his carries to 189.
Have Labheart make the team, catch -1 yard passes and turn them to 5 yards.

we shall overcome! was it over when Germany bombed Britain?

Some things come a lot easier than others though. When it comes to schedules, the Texans have one of the easiest in the NFL.

Almost certain that Rice will never get a job with the Texans. Bob McNair had some strong sentiments about Rice.

Bradshaw maybe...but your assessment on Chris Johnson is off base. He could regain his form with a vastly superior offensive line....

    Beggars cant be choosers..

Not the least bit surprised. Foster has been injury prone for the last couple of seasons. Happy he got his big contract, but it's time to move on.

Anything we get from here on out should be considered a bous

Easy schedules mean jack squat if your offense cant move the ball. Arian did that for us. The Texans need his level of production from everyone else. Im not really sold on Blue's vision...

you're right on McNair/Rice. Wishful thinking (from a football standpoint. in reality I'm glad I don't have to think about cheering for him)

Chris Johnson has had the same burst the last 2 years, and it has showed. Without that burst, he's had minimal effectiveness inside + on the rare occasions he breaks out, he can't hit the homerun anymore. It's not that surprising for a RB who's about to hit 30--and especially one who relied so heavily on speed/quickness in the first place.
