About 5 weeks ago.... Fast forward to now: The only team Lin finds is a doormat of a franchise called Charlotte Hornets and the opportunity to be a ball boy to Kemba freaking Walker for 2 million. 1. He doesn't realize how much of a ballboy for Harden he's gonna be. 2. He was lured by how Rockets were successful this playoffs making it to WCF. Lawson probably doesn't realize how easy the path was for Rockets, beating a veteran, washed-up, Parson-less Mavs team torn with Ronodo drama, and a choking Clips team. Obviously he wasn't smart enough to realize this team actually doesn't have potential with a 4-1 spanking by GSW (4-1 in a WCF series, really? haha)
Wow King1 is right. A fire hydrant has more knowledge than you do. Ty Lawson wasn't lured here. He was traded here dumbass. Not only was he traded here, he waived the last year of his contract to prove himself. Golden State had a cake walk to the finals. Every team they played was missing 2+ starters. Including the Rockets. Can we say:
Yup he was traded, but the fact that he waived that last yr meant that he wanted to come play for Houston. The fact that he was traded still means Zboy's counter-argument is invalid, since my original argument was that no free agent would willingly come here.
Ty Lawson brings heavy baggage to the Rockets. If he can control his DUI he will help, but if he does not he will be a cancer to the team. Rocket gave up too much in the trade...either a draft pick or a player would be enough...not both.
