    Ouch! :p

If you saw my follow-up tweet, I readily admitted that Chapman is a stud and that this tweet was more just a defense of the legitimacy of the Astros' current stable of bullpen arms in their own right.

That's what makes this such a stress free couple of hours, unlike the Rockets! For Rockets were hoping for a deal, any deal for a PG. Hell, even a Jared Jack would've been fine during the deadline.

For the Astros, we're so loaded that there is really no true weak link. Sure we can upgrade our bullpen (which is already legit). Sure we can use a #4 pitcher (our #4 has 12 wins). But if we do nothing, then great, we keep our deep deep farm system. It's all good in the hood :)

Still would like one more move that makes other fans go "F@#$$", but share your sentiment.

Your insight is always appreciated Bima. You're right about the Astros' current bullpen being pretty great already, but you can't blame the Astros for wanting to get a closer that can go out there and throw the ball over 100+mph. That's always fun to watch

We got a guy in Kazmir who is a better version of him.

I would have rather had Gomez plus fiers than the 22mil that Hamels would have cost.

Edit: Trade deadline is also not done yet, so we still might have netted Kimbrel or Chapman and this was all possible by Hamels wife wanting to live at home.

I wonder if dealing Jespen makes it less likely they also deal McGee.

Welp, the Rangers have their Parsons now. A guy I will love to hate.

Damn, Revere to Toronto...not that they need offense, but he will be the perfect leadoff man for all those power bats

Wasn't meant to sting, it's a reasonable concern. Chapman's just probably the most extreme example where I wouldn't worry about WHIP, as long as he isn't giving up runs and is striking out everybody.

And it's not your fault somebody else posted it out of context without the follow-up tweets. Nothing you can do about that.

Inside Pitch on Sirius is saying 3 or 4 trades have already been sent in for approval to MLB.

He doesn't have an OBP for lead off. Still, Revere batting around 8th in that lineup...almost zero holes.
