How was it?? I did not notice, i saw Correa real happy. One thing i did like a lot was Valbuena, when Lowrie made a big play, he was showing a lot of happiness toward Lowrie, the guy that is playing "his" position. Players like that is what you need to win games.

Also, the Astros trades significantly outweigh the Angels trades thus far.

He's gotta realize his days are numbered. Even as the DH tonight he got benched for MarGo's bat. He's had ample opportunity to be at least a consistently semi-decent player. I have no sympathy and his situation will certainly not ruin this moment for me!

I was mostly joking with my comment... Carter was his usual nonchalant self showing very little emotion... but he was there at home plate when Castro came in.

Astros made a trade for Kazmir, and on that day Altuve hit a Walk off!
Today we made a trade for Gomez, and Castro hits a walk off!

Can we get another trade please.

Can't stress enough how huge Kazmir has been for this team so far. Two games now, he has shut out top offenses in the league. Best ERA in the AL (2nd best in the majors). Compared to what KC and texas gave up for their respective trades, this is an absolute steal for us (yes yes I know he's a rental). Signing this guy to a deal has to be priority #1 this off season.

And now we're adding Gomez to the lineup tomorrow and likely upgrading the back-end of our rotation still? Incredible.

If we can just start winning on the road again, I have no doubt we would be the team to beat in the AL.
