The Republican party exists to block public goods and make us all worse off? That is a good summation.
So just to be clear, when Obama (or the House/Senate Dems when they were in control) take a hardline stance and doesn't work with the GOP, they should be blamed for not working with the other party. When the GOP doesn't take a hardline stance and refuse to work with the other party, they are dumb and should be called out for it. Is that a good summary of your views?
Perry is such a schmuck. LoL. I'd love to see Trump and Perry debate, would be hilarious television. http://www.cnn.com/2015/07/29/politics/rick-perry-donald-trump-pull-up-contest/index.html Washington (CNN)The war of words between businessman Donald Trump and former Texas Gov. Rick Perry reached the jungle gym on Wednesday, when Perry challenged Trump to a pull-up contest. "Let's get a pull-up bar out there and let's see who can do the most pull-ups," said Perry, once an Air Force captain, when asked by a reporter if he had any message for Trump. Perry, who governed Texas with a trademark swagger and bravado for 14 years, made the remark after a speech dedicated to Wall Street reform at the Yale Club in New York on Wednesday
I think Walker as well right now. Though I fully admit it's silly to predict anything at this point. The one thing I will say is that it will be sad if both Perry and Trump aren't on the stage at the same time during the debate.
I'm not exactly excited about the massive GOP field. Other than Rand Paul (my preference) anyone else I would consider supporting is certainly not in the "top tier" of polls or money. That being said whoever it is would almost certainly be better than GW Bush and Obama have been. Bush caused us to lose respect and standing around the world while spending like a drunk sailor. Obama has spent even more money, been divisive (race relations are at an all time low at least in my lifetime since circa 1980) and has been weak domestically and internationally.
Wow!! Obama is Black; racists get upset just knowing he is president, therefore Obama is leading to divisive race relations. Just wow!
Could you be more specific as to how Obama himself, along with his policies, has added to racial tensions being at all time recent highs? Obama had to spend money, most economists agreed that he should have spent more. But what was the alternative? More tax cuts? Again, how has he been weak domestically and internationally? All I seem to hear from the right is the same buzz phrase propoaganda of him being a "weak leader", with no specific criticisms aided by a counter view of what they would have done instead. I just see one party talking about problems and possible solutions to those problems, while the other party seems to have sank themselves so deep into special interest group pockets while also being smart enough to employ buzz phrase arguments that appeal to the majority of unintelligent Americans who take part in the voting cycles.
Diplomacy is seen as weak. GOP believes we need to stick our chests out and flash our war weapons. It's "our way or war."
 At least they are giving their best for great entertainment. Election campaign is once again a show but of course these two candidates are the show masters..
I wouldn't say 'anything.' I don't think we can predict now who the Republican candidate will be, but I think we predict with a lot of confidence some people it won't be. It won't be Trump. People have a lot of fun with these polls because they all keep indicating Trump as the leader. But, it should be obvious to everybody that this is all for fun, because he won't be the candidate. I also think it's safe to say it won't be Pataki, Perry, Carson, Fiorina, Santorum, Christie, Kasich, or Huckabee. Not impossible, but I feel pretty confident excluding them already.
In the GOP? Surely you jest. Well I oredict Walker might look a little less buffonish than most of the pack and trot out the usual tax cuts for the wealthy and deregulation of coal fired plants as the road to the long promised trickle down miracle. Bush III might channel his inner Romney and hint that his Bro might have gone about the Iraq debacle differently and hey, his wife is Mexican. Don't keep up with the clowns too much. I assume these two are not jacking around quite as much and doing stunts with chainsaws like the poor old Randie and the rest of the crew.
