Man I really haven't been that excited for an Astros game in a long time. I feel really young again. This next 2 games are huge. Primetime tonight. I mean this is what we asked for ! Correa and Altuve really have that "IT" factor. They want to win. They know what it takes to win. I love it.
Much preferred to complaining about a team that sucks huge balls who isn't even available to be viewed by 60% of the city.
People... I'm not complaining. Just noting that we had an uptick in attendance last week and was hoping to see it continue. I know the Red Sox are a draw, but this series is the most interesting one we have had since '08. That being said, I'm looking forward to see the attendance continue to climb. This time last year, 10K fans less would have been there. Seeing 35K+ in the stadium brings a smile to my face and I just want Houstonians to know and see these guys ball.
I just want to say that Correa has an OPS of 0.895. Of all qualified batters at SS, Troy T leads the pack with an OPS of 0.818. Unreal for someone that cant even buy a beer for himself.
The fans should collectively have a beer for Carlos night on September 22nd. It is his 21st birthday at home against the Angels
Had a ton of discomfort in BP. Didn't touch a bat after. I presume he isn't playing today, but could be totally wrong. Astros have two high quality guys throwing for them next two days. Time to take that two game lead.
This happened today? I know his MRI was negative. Also any word on lowrie playing today or tomorrow? He's supposed to get evaluated in houston today.
I was thinking today that hitting a McCullers fastball in on the hands would do wonders for the healing process for Mr. Trout. Probably better for him if he sits.

i know singleton is a lefty but damn i really don't want him in there lol. hope he makes me eat crow today.
I know Trout isn't the only player on the Angels, but it really helps not having his bat in the lineup.
A big game wouldn't sway many Astros fans... I doubt it would sway professional scouts and front offices who analyze teams for a living (he'd be a throw-in... just for the asking). Looking back now, Singleton would have more "value" by not having been promoted this year, and still doing decently at AAA (but again, other teams would question why he was still down there, without much being shown at 1B on the big league club).
