    McHugh has the look of a 5th starter at best on a contending club and the Astros must believe this as well because they are continuing to seek starting pitching before the deadline. Do you trust him down the stretch or in a playoff series with his high ERA? Can't continue to count on the team to score a ton of runs all the time when he pitches.

    is he an ace? No. Are Hamels/Ross/etc better? Yes. Do I think he's good enough to be a #4 in a playoff series (i.e. pitch when necessary but not in every series)? Yup.

    4/5th starter is his ceiling. Truly feel eventually he will be a 5th/spot starter on this club. As I type this he just gave up another run...
