come on man. your shtick is wearing thin on everybody. Just relax, take a drag, and stop your manic posting. It's a bit of an art form to engage at the right time and let it be at others. You are welcome to contribute, just show some better etiquette, that's all.
Lucroy is not hitting this year, but in the past he was one of the best hitting catchers. Lind, i am worried about his back, for 2 days now he is not playing because of it.
I really think we will take it to the next level with Lowrie and Springer. I'm hoping it won't be too late by the time they are both ready. Also, I'm warming to the idea of Lowrie at third, and either Gonzo or even Valbuena (just conjecture at this point) at first. Our big holes are: 1) First Base (Carter/Singleton are hanging out too much together. They are beginning to look alike). --Marwin/Valbuena at this point are an upgrade. 2) Catcher (Castro's crappy .avg and Conger's bad D)..nothing to see here except via trade. 3) 3rd Base, low OBP (kind of a mirror of first. We can have one of those guys, not both) ...Lowrie could solve this. 4) Marisnick gets a pass because of his elite D. His .avg needs to improve but he is worth holding on too. .... not too worried.
Yea we sit 4th in runs scored right now, and haven't had Correa + Springer + Lowrie all in the lineup together yet Would love to add a good quality bat, but if we can't find one and add another great pitcher that's cool too Just do something to make us even better than we already are
Agree on 1b. Maybe on the second. Third i also give that Valbuena is very good defensively, so the power and defense combo is good enough. But Lowrie will improve the offense, hopefully he will go to 1st and solve that problem and we can survive with valbuena at 3b with gonzalez vs lefties. On 4th, Marisnick is untouchable, too good on defense. I hope he can hit .250.
