I think a lot of people here seem to have forgotten about him. He will be a pleasant surprise this year. We are so much better than last season. Thornton is just one reason why. We got rid of Dorsey, Papa, Prig and Nick. Smoove went elsewhere. Addition by subtraction for all of them. We resigned KJ, Bev, Brew, signed Thornton, traded for Lawson, drafted Dekker and Harrell. DMo and Jones back from injury and oh yeah Capella with a whole off season to get bigger and better. I still think we can compete with any team and win,if Lawson can get the better of his addiction.

I hope we sign Terry. Great insurance and a very good veteran influence on bench and in the locker room. If we get to fill out our roster with players like him it means we are a so much deeper team.
Agreed. If I remember correctly (in Denver I think?), Terry was the one who facilitated meetings between Howard and Harden. Terry is crucial to keep the locker room in check. If his shot is falling, it's a plus, but I think he's the best player/coach/hype man hybrid we could ask for. I really hope Morey gets this done.
Thornton may be better player at this stage of JETS career but going to miss his leadership on court and locker room presence. Still like the move.
