Is it really that easy to pick up playing 1B? didn't someone mention Tucker had 3 errors in the 3 games he played 1B in AAA?

A few observations on the last couple of batters. That was an error on Correa, Royals scorekeeper giving the home cooking. Carter needs to get rid of that ball sooner if he has no backup (although I'm not sure he should expect no backup). Sipp and to a lesser extent Rasmus should have been heading to cover 1st. At least they ran the runner back to 1st. The runner on 3rd in this situation didn't matter as much as the runner at 1st.

Good win really pleased with the way Kazmir pitched and also thought Qualls threw well.

Yeah I'm crazy for wanting to trade the team leader in rbi's right? But yeah I would consider it if you can get equal value.

Forget about the Angels, too early for that, what we need is to continue winning series

No, that was Tucker last year at AAA. 3 games, 3 errors.

There's a reason when Luhnow was asked about the possibility of Tucker at 1B, he said simply "No, he's an outfielder." Different skillsets.

It's much easier to move someone from the IF to the OF than vice-versa (and that's not easy at all for some). It takes a ton of practice to move around the infield if you've never played those positions before.

It's not fantasy baseball where you can just plug people in wherever you see fit.

Wasn't that Hinch that said it?

Also, he did play "enough" 1B in college and HS to at least give it a shot... if its beyond hope that he cannot improve, they'll have to make due with Marwin/Lowrie/Valbuena in later innings.

He's a bad outfielder... that's part of the problem... doesn't really have much "skill set" there as well... and if they can't hide him there (or they decide to go with the better defense of Rasmus-Jake-Springer), where else can you put him?

    Couldabeen. It was recent, though.

He's an OF/DH until the winter leagues / spring training when he can potentially work on other things.

It's as if a mommy duck and her little baby ducks tried to walk across a busy highway out there in the 9th.

Is this the wrong place to cheer for Colby Lewis and the Rangers?
