Qualls has been solid since coming back from the pinched nerve. Still don't like how he kept quiet about it until it started costing the team games.
Agree, he was probably injured. Now, first base, what should happen there? Valbuena at 1b? Lowrie 3b? Carter only playing vs lefties? Trade? Lind? This offseason Mr. Tucker will have to learn that position
Qualls and Sipp are pitching very well. It would be nice to get that bullpen slamming the door again.
He's had 2 poor starts out of 7…and he's also had 3 or 4 ER tacked onto his stats as a result of a reliever coming in and giving up hits. If he was consistently reaching 7 innings with the way he's pitched, Feldman would be useless for us. The problem with VV and McCullers is that their pitch counts are absurd at times.
