Afghanistan supplies over 90% of the worlds herion since the US invaded. But yet you think people who can't even set off a underwear bomb can orchestrate strategic strikes by simultaneously taking over multiple airplanes with box cutters.
90%? I don't know about that but either way it's a black market item. I'm talking Nasdaq and Dow Jones here.
Don't take my word for it... Google it and research it for yourself and see how much money that is. Dude, this country runs off drugs. Why do you think the police department and the prison industry fight against the decriminalization of mar1juana...??? Because jobs would be lost.
That's not true - like with climate change and so many other issues, the vast majority of the scientists and engineers don't believe in any conspiracy. You just want to listen to a tiny minority that say what you want to believe. As Lindsey Graham said on climate change: “I know I’m not a scientist,” he continued, “but here’s the problem I’ve got with some people in my party: When you ask the scientists what’s going on, why don’t you believe them? If I went to 10 doctors and nine said, ‘Hey, you’re gonna die,’ and one says ‘You’re fine,’ why would I believe the one guy?”
Afghanistan has no natural resources? Tell that to the Chinese and Americans that want the ungodly amount of precious metals present that are used for electronics/cellular phones, etc.
Never knew, a quick Google search taught me something. I wonder why a lot of people say they don't have any natural resources? Eh.
My guess is that it isn't rich in the types of resources that typically that are needed for successful and prosperous civilizations. Something is eventually going to happen with those precious metals.... the Chinese are go hard for similar resources in Africa and other places, America has not been as motivated........ but America gets what it wants most of the time and are old hat when it comes to the Middle East.
No doubt that some jobs would be cut, but crime is crime, you would see new issues emerge and the police/prison industry would step in and fill the void.
Can you post a video that supports your views? I'm sure you can easily find one considering there's 9 out of 10....
This again? I guess the conspiracy theories around this will never end. This is what some guy named "Sishir Chang" posted back in 2007 http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showpost.php?p=3030484&postcount=117
Not sure if we can make that assumption. In Colorado, companies deal with cash money. So distribution centers have to worry about not only their products but the cash money that needs to be deposited in banks. Currently, former and current cops are being used to escort their property to be protected from being jacked. They are being hired as independent contractors. People who used to arrest people for cannabis are now protecting it - legally.
I doubt it's about the jobs. Private prison industry makes money by having that bed filled. They estimate that it costs 50k a year to house a prisoner. In my early 20's i lived off of under 20k and I doubt it was lower standard than prisoners have to endure. That is outright theft of the middle class American's tax money. Too bad they don't even bother to learn about these things because they are so busy trying to pay that luxury suv off.
Why did this stupid thread get bumped? Geez. Someone bored? As for Afghanistan, they've been huge producers of the poppy, its by-products, and hashish since time out of mind.
http://www.ae911truth.org 2,353 architects, PHDs, college professors and engineers. Hardly a group of charlatans, crazy or easily manipulated people. I am not a conspiracy theorist, you won't find me protesting with signs on overpasses, or getting the coast to coast am newsletter. I do, however, have a serious problem when a group of seemingly highly educated individuals congregate, and raise questions about, what they view as a highly suspicious event, and it is broadly dismissed before even a slight amount of consideration is given. I think, thier credentials alone, deserve at least a brief discussion and review of thier points. Again, we aren't talking about Alex Jones here. We are talking about a non profit organization consisting of over 2,000 experts who are willing to go on record as saying "something is not right here" This is not something anonymous either: http://www.ae911truth.org/signatures/ae.html Harvard, MIT, Rice, Berkley, etc. Thats a lot of seemingly very distinguished individuals. You would have to be either very crazy or very certain of wrong doing to put your name on something like this and jeopardize your career. And I find it hard to believe this sheer volume of crazies could exist and still maintain thier careers/ positions as experts in the field. Some of you may not agree, but I definitely think it's worth discussion ESPECIALLY considering most of you have no problem whatsoever taking the time to put together arguments and research against the normal clown show which rolls through this forum.
Which is a miniscule fraction of the Architects, PhDs, college professors, and engineers in this country. What makes you think that? We have doctors who promote all sorts of vaccine fallacies. What makes you think that engineers or architects are immune from stupidity?
There are plenty of sites that lay out the case of why there's no conspiracy. It's odd that you'd ask me for them - I would hope, before you subscribe to a conspiracy, you'd already have done extensive research on the topic. http://www.google.com
